About us
Round Green Deer Farm has been the home of deer for over 25 years.
We have our own on-farm high welfare abattoir designed specially for the species.
A state of the art butchery ensures that Farmed venison is available all year round.
As well as our own animals we are supplied by a co-operative of deer farmers. www.venico.co.uk
We all pool our knowledge and ideas and all member farms are independently inspected by SAI Global to ensure that standards of production and animal welfare are strictly adhered to.
Venison is one of the world’s healthiest foods; farmed venison is more consistent, less “gamey”, leaner and more moist than its wild counterpart. Venison provides lower levels of fat than beef lamb or pork and chicken and also provided a good source of vitamins B12 and B6.
